St. Rose Basketball for Stars Under the Radar was founded in 2023. 

Our mission is to teach, develop, organize, manage and offer youth players the opportunity to learn the fundamental skills of basketball while instilling life-lessons and values such as character, team work, discipline, respect and sportsmanship.

About the Owner


Christopher St. Rose has always had a passion for basketball. He played middle school and high school basketball in Queens, NY throughout the 1990s. Chris attended Salem University in West Virginia, where he was a shooting guard  and was invited to West Virginia Collegiate All-Star games. After graduating, Chris played for the BBL Brighton Bears from 2005 until 2006. He then went on to play in the LNB Pro A league in France from 2008 until 2009. Between 2010 and 2011, he played for the ABA Arkansas Rivercatz. Finally, Chris played for the NYDL New York Lightning between 2015 and 2018.  Aside from his professional career, he has played in Summer leagues at Hunter College, Rucker Park and Dyckman Basketball from 2002 until 2018. 

In addition to playing, Chris has spent several years working with high school students as an after school program coordinator. He has also trained several students outside of the program, in basketball. Chris has assisted his son's high school basketball team from 2019 until 2023.
